Thank You 2011!

2011 was such a fantastic year for us!  Thanks to everyone who welcomed us into your lives and allowed us to share in your most special memories.  Last year we made a collage of weddings.  This year we welcomed our new baby into the family so we are doing something different and sharing a collage of all of the newborns of 2011!  You can see highlights from weddings, sessions, and events of 2011 in the highlights albums we created on our Facebook page.

We hope all of you enjoy your New Year’s Eve celebrations and all the best for a terrific 2012!

Wedding at the Feather Sound Country Club: Natalie and Jon-Michael

Natalie and Jon-Michael were married at the Feather Sound Country Club in Clearwater.  Natalie was a beautiful bride and she lit up every time she looked at Jon-Michael.  The wedding had a fall theme with leaves decorating the sides of the aisle, the tree centerpieces, the cake and cake table, and other tables.  Pretty autumn orange floral arrangements were at the beginning and end of the aisle.  DD’s Blooms was the florist who put the bouquets and arrangements together.  At the reception each table had a tree with the table number on it as well as leaves and hanging candles.  The decor not only reflected the fall theme but also the main wedding color which was purple.  Rob Sword of Sword Sounds was the officiant and the DJ for the wedding.  Jason loves working with him and he is terrific person.  The cake was made by Queens of Cake and had colorful leaves draping all of the tiers.

Congratulations to the bride and groom and thanks for including us in your wedding day!  We hope your honeymoon cruise was amazing!

Family Session with Anja, Adam, and Their Son

Jason went to Anja and Adam’s home to photograph their family session with the two of them, their son, and their pets.  One of their dogs was a giant white shepherd and Jason said he came up to his waist!  I have never seen a white shepherd but he is a beautiful dog.  Their other dog was a schnauzer and the family had a cute black and white cat as well.  We also have two dogs and a cat.  It is great to meet people who are animal lovers like us!  Jason said they were a wonderful family and he enjoyed meeting all of them.  Thanks to Anja, Adam, and their son for having Jason over!

Wedding at the USF Gibbons Alumni Center: Michele and Nathan

Michele and Nathan had one of Jason’s favorite engagement sessions ever.  They made it all about their styles, their personalities, the things they like, and they included many people from their wedding party as well.  Their engagement session was zombie invasion and Michele and Nathan made it into a terrific production with the makeup, props, and even fog machines!  Knowing how much this couple loves horror and fall and making things their own, we could not wait for their wedding day!

The wedding was held at the USF Gibbons Alumni Center with the ceremony in The Courtyard and the reception in the USF Parents Association Club Room/Atrium.  Michele had the wonderful Darla Stafford as her hair and makeup artist.  At the reception the caterer was Amici’s and the wedding cake was from Publix.  The wedding details were awesome and really reflected Michele and Nathan’s style and personalities!  The flowers were beautiful shades of orange and yellow with some wheat stalks.  There were glitzy pumpkins as decorations and on one of the cake tiers.  The garter had a silly scull face and the boutonniere had little zombie men on them.  The ceremony included the pagan custom of handfasting where the couple’s hands were fastened together with a cord to form an infinity symbol.  At the reception the wedding party entered carrying light sabers and formed a line for the ring bearer (Michele and Nathan’s son) to enter wearing a Darth Vader mask.  There were so many ways that Michele and Nathan included to create a wedding day unique to the two of them and filled with laughter and love.

Michele and Nathan, thank you for letting us be part of this experience with you!  It has been great getting to know you during your wedding planning.  We are so happy for your family and wish you so much happiness in your future together!
