Wedding at the Bahia Shrine in Orlando: Sarita and Nathan

Jason absolutely loved Sarita, Nathan, and their friends and family! He said they were the nicest people and everyone was so much fun to be around. The wedding was held at the Circle Community Church and the reception was in Orlando at the Bahia Shrine. The wedding colors were black and green and the florist, Mimi’s Flowers and Gifts, used green and white flowers in the girls’ bouquets. All Occasion Caterer was at the reception along with Bill Lanford who was the DJ.

Sarita has such a beautiful and happy laugh! She was very expressive throughout the day and that allowed the emotion of the images to come through. Sarita and Nathan are very much in love and we hope that loves just keeps growing as years go by. Congratulations newlyweds!

Newborn Session: Lauren and Thomas Have a Baby Boy!

Jason photographed Lauren and Thomas’s wedding last October and it has been wonderful getting to know them! Earlier this month I had a Pickles and Ice Cream Party for some of the past brides Jason has photographed who are now expecting. We are lucky enough to keep in touch with many of our past couples (I love that!) and there are quite a few who are pregnant! It was fun getting together to talk pregnancy and labor and kids. Two other expecting moms had to leave before Jason took this picture but here we are at the get together.

Lauren was due about a week and a half after the party but the ice cream must have gotten her baby going because later that night her water broke! Her son was born the next day.

We were excited to meet Lauren and Thomas’s baby and they brought him over for a newborn session when he was 6 days old. At first he seemed to be irritated by the camera (I’m sorry but I cannot resist sharing that picture!) but soon he was fast asleep and stayed that way most of the session. He was such a good baby. Lauren and Thomas are dedicated and loving parents and it was wonderful to see them with their son as a family. We are so happy for them and we can’t wait to see them again, hopefully soon!

6 Month Portrait Session: Kirsten and Steven’s Son

Kirsten and Steven have a seriously adorable son! He makes such expressive faces and his crying faces are just as cute as his smiles. Jason has photographed Kirsten and Steven’s engagement, wedding, maternity session, and the newborn session for their little boy. We are so honored and humbled that they continue to have us in their lives! They made a trip up to the area so Jason could photograph their little boy’s 6 month session. It was wonderful for Jason to see them and spend some time with them again. With how much fun their son was, we can’t wait to see him smash a cake for his first birthday session!

Erika’s Maternity Session at Sand Key Park

Erika is due with two! Jason photographed Erika and Shane’s wedding on the beach in October of last year. Four couples whose weddings Jason photographed that month either just had a baby or are expecting very soon so if you are one of our other October 2010 brides be ready. Erika and Shane are expecting twins! They are having a baby boy and a baby girl and they headed back to the beach with Jason for a maternity session. The session ended with a colorful sunset which made the sky absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for having dad there to photograph another special time in your lives Erika and Shane! Get as much rest as you can before November!

Maternity Session with Falisha and Shannon

Falisha and Shannon were married last summer (Happy 1st anniversary 1 month late to you two!) and we were excited to hear that they are now expecting a baby! Falisha’s due date is just one day before my own! They have decided not to find out whether they are having a boy or a girl so they had some fun at the session showing that off. Falisha looks amazing and Jason had a great time with her and Shannon at the session. They started with a studio session and then went to the park for some outdoor pictures.

Thanks for a terrific session Falisha and Shannon! We can’t wait to hear your baby news and meet your new son or daughter. It will be cute to see our newborns together if ours arrives around the same time!
