Wedding at the Florida Aquarium: Molly and Ryan

Molly and Ryan were married at Bayshore Baptist Church with a reception at The Florida Aquarium.  They were an upbeat couple and made sure to have fun on their wedding day.  Molly was the Maid of Honor in Ashleigh and Matt’s wedding and now Ashleigh was Molly’s Maid of Honor.  Dad was happy to see Ashleigh and Matt again!  The wedding colors were purple and green with flowers from Cheral Floral Studio.  Molly and Ryan had their First Sight moment outside of the church and then went inside for pictures with their wedding party.  After the ceremony and a few more church pictures everyone headed over to the aquarium for the reception.  Dad was happy to work with Frank Lebano who was the DJ for the wedding.  The couple had a table filled with candy, cookies, and cupcakes from The Cupcake Spot.  We’re sure it was yummy because the bride and groom made sure to enjoy it when they fed cake to each other!

Molly and Ryan, we hope the terrific memories you have of your day stay in your hearts throughout your marriage!  Congratulations!

Our Son’s Annual Birthday Session

Mom Blogging:

I seriously could not be more proud of my son.  He is incredibly smart, kind, giving, fun, helpful, and creative.  Those aren’t just a list of adjectives.  Each of those are traits that he fully demonstrates.  He started kindergarten this year and is already reading chapter books meant for kids several grades above him.  He is involved in many activities and keeps us on our toes with his diverse interests.  I am shocked at his drawings and artistic skill because I have NONE!  He writes terrific stories that are beyond his years.  I love so many of his stories that this summer we are going to make them into a keepsake book!  Many of you know that our annual food drive started because of him.  This Easter season he did chores around the house and for family to raise money to give to our church’s rice bowl project for the hungry.  Recently he took all of the money he had been saving up from birthdays and holidays and donated it to our local crisis pregnancy center.  He has the biggest heart!

Seeing his pictures from this year’s birthday session made me tear up.  I love him so much and I cannot express how grateful I am to God for giving me the gift of all of my kids!  It fills my heart.  Here are a few highlights from my oldest son’s annual birthday session.

Wedding at the Dolphin Beach Resort: Samantha and Christian

Dad photographed Samantha and Christian’s beautiful engagement session at Honeymoon Island.  They had their beach wedding at Dolphin Beach Resort and it was a beautiful day!  Samantha wore a gorgeous one-shoulder gown with rhinestone embellishments on the strap.  Bridesmaids wore dresses that were coral in color to match the pink and orange wedding colors.  Many of the flowers were orchids and Heather from Rose Garden Florist put those together.  At the reception guests rocked out to the band Roctopus who were a lot of fun and inspired many great dances moves that night.

Samantha, Christian, and their wedding party had a blast on the wedding day!  Dad loved that they were all up for anything.  When doing some of the wedding party pictures they spotted a muscle builder on the beach.  One of the groomsmen approached him and asked him to be in a picture and before dad knew it the guy had lifted a bridesmaid up with one arm while he made muscle poses!  You never know what is going to happen when you get married on the beach during the busy summer season:)

Congratulations Samantha and Christian!  You had such a fun wedding and we hope the fun continued in Cabo!

Wedding at the Sirata: Tanya and Jon

Tanya and Jon came from Canada to have a summer wedding on a Florida beach.  Their wedding was held at the Sirata Beach Resort.  Irene from For Better For Less does a wonderful job with flowers and she was the florist for the wedding.  Amanda of Pink Fiddle played the violin at the ceremony.  At the reception the DJ was from Grant Hemond and the cake was from Publix.

Tanya and Jon had their First Sight before the ceremony and then met their family and wedding party on the beach for pictures.  They joined their guests at the reception right after the ceremony and then stepped out for a few minutes at sunset for more bride and groom pictures.

Congratulations to Tanya and Jon and thanks for having dad there to capture your day!

Senior Session in the Park

Nolan is graduating from high school!  Dad has photographed senior sessions for Nolan’s two older brothers (link to Evan’s here) and he was excited to hear from the family again and get more awesome pictures for them.  The location Nolan picked fit his personality perfectly.  He and his friends hung out at the park so he had memories there, and dad was really impressed that Nolan could recognize some of the fish in the river just from the shadows under the water!  He is following his dream and going to college to pursue what he loves.  We wish him lots of luck!
