Jason had a great time hanging out with Ashley and Robert! They had their engagement session in Downtown Tampa. Many people don’t like to wake up early to get the great morning sunlight but when they do they are able to get some beautiful images. Ashley and Robert are wonderful together and they smiled through the entire session. Mom thinks Ashley is so crafty with the ribbon she made of their wedding date coming up this fall! Dad will see you two then!
Dad had a terrific time with Katie and Jay at their engagement session and he had been looking forward to seeing them again on their wedding day. They are an upbeat and friendly couple and really bring out the best in one another. Their wedding ceremony was held at Our Lady’s Chapel at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle and the reception followed at NOVA 535. Katie had a stylist from Salon Libelle come to Grayl’s Historic Hotel where she was getting ready. Her hair was pulled back and adorned with a few flowers which looked classic and bridal. Mom loved Katie’s bouquet made of blue hydrangea and white stephanotis. Those are two of the flowers mom had in her own bouquet! Katie and Jay’s flowers were done by Apple Blossoms Floral Design.
Guests at the reception were in for a treat. Not only did they have dinner from Amici’s Catered Cuisine but there were also mini wedding cakes on each table! The wedding cake was made by A Piece of Cake and they always do a great job. Guests also were able to eat at the ice cream bar set up with chocolate and vanilla ice cream with all the toppings. Yummy! The DJ was from Grant Hemond and Katie and Jay looked like they had a lot of fun on the dance floor.
The couple honeymooned in Italy so we are sure they had an amazing trip. Congratulations Katie and Jay! Thanks for having dad there to share in your beautiful wedding day!
We are all so very excited for Chelsea and Justin! Dad photographed their Vegas wedding a little over a year ago and they’ve become friends of ours so we were so happy when Chelsea told us she was expecting! They brought their beautiful baby girl over for her newborn session on what would have been her due date. Mom loved being able to hold and rock their beautiful little girl. Seeing how small and precious she was made mom and dad even more excited for when they’ll get to hold our little brother or sister when he or she arrives!
Congratulations on your growing family Chelsea and Justin. We are incredibly happy for you and can’t wait until the next time we get to see all of you again! We hope it is soon!

Five years ago dad photographed Bethany and Craig’s wedding. They were an amazing couple and he was so happy to hear from them again! They had a baby girl eight months ago and they brought her over for a session. From knowing what nice and upbeat people they were, dad knew they would be terrific parents. The smiles on their faces when they looked at their daughter proved him right. Bethany and Craig, dad said it was great seeing you again and meeting your little girl. He can’t wait until next time!
Dad hasn’t seen Allison, James, and their two kids since their son’s newborn session last year. He was excited for them to come over again! Their son just turned one and their daughter turned 4. Their birthdays are only a few days apart! Mom was sad that she didn’t get to see everyone and catch up but she says we’ll have to plan a play date soon. Happy birthday to big sister and little brother!
