Last Sunday afternoon dad met up with Hilary and Derek for their engagement session. Dad said that every time they looked at each other they couldn’t help but smile. It is sweet to see couples so in love! Thanks for a great session and see you both for your wedding in the fall!
Dad met with Jackie and Brett early last Sunday for their engagement session. It was a cold morning but lots of snuggling and kisses kept Jackie and Brett warm! Their wedding is coming up in March so dad will see them again very soon. We hope you two have fun as you get all the details together for the big day!
What says Florida more than a wedding in an orange grove?! Lena and Joel came from out of state to be married at Mixon’s In the Grove. Dad always has a great time photographing weddings there! He always brings home yummy orange juice for us. Lena and Joel had an intimate wedding surrounded by close family and friends. Dad loved taking the bride and groom into the orange grove for pictures! Congratulations Lena and Joel, and thanks for including dad in your day!
Dad first met Sophie and Thomas when their son turned one. He went to their house to photograph their little boy’s one year session and smash the cake. Dad was excited to see them again now that their son is turning two! He is a little man on the GO! They went to the park for some pictures and dad had a great time getting pictures as he ran around playing and exploring. Hope your second birthday is lots of fun!
First birthdays are bittersweet days for parents. It is exciting to see their baby grow, but so much changes in the first year and it is hard to believe that just one year before the toddler now running around, saying a few words, and getting into everything was curled up in their arms as a tiny newborn. Dad has photographed Carly and Will’s daughter through her first year, starting with a newborn session, then 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months. Each time she had changed so much, had reached new milestones, and was doing new things. This week she will turn one and Carly and Will brought her over for her one year session. She had some fun eating leaves and grass outside which should have shown everyone how hungry she was! When she sat in front of her birthday cake she not only smashed it, she dove in face first! She grabbed handfuls and squished, smashed, and obliterated that cake! Dad and mom said that she might not have been the messiest cake smasher but she sure did the best job of getting to all of the cake!
