Tampa Bay Watch Wedding: Lauren and Nick

Lauren and Nick included so many awesome details for their wedding day!  They made sure that their day was a lot of fun not just for them but for their guests as well.  They were married at St. Paul’s Catholic Church and had their reception at Tampa Bay Watch.  Lauren had Cari from Kyle Lynn with her for hair and makeup and she looked beautiful.  The wonderful Ian from Movie Magic Productions was there as the videographer.  After the ceremony the bride and groom and their wedding party went to Fort Desoto for pictures before joining their guests at the reception.  The guests were kept entertained with corn hole, bocce ball, horseshoes, and filling out the advice cards for the couple which worked like a game of Madlibs.  The wedding colors were yellow and blue which mom loves!  The Gators were well represented as well with Gator cuff links, a Gator ring pillow, and of course the Gator chomp.  Tables had vintage postcards from different Florida cities and there was a wooden directional sign showing the mileage from the wedding to other sites in Florida as well.  One of mom’s favorite details was the Smores bar at the reception.  There was chocolate, marshmallows, graham crackers, and a quote from the movie The Sandlot explaining how to make a Smore.  There was also ice cream and ice cream cones and when dad saw someone make a Coke float he wanted to find some root beer to join him!

Lauren and Nick, you did a terrific job putting together the details to make a gorgeous and fun wedding.  Congratulations to you both!

Lady in Red

Last year dad met Heather’s little girl when he photographed her 9 month session at Heather’s parents’ house.  Dad recently went to visit them there again for some Christmas pictures.  Heather’s daughter is almost two now and a lot bigger but dad was happy to see that her cute expressions still looked the same.  She should continue the tradition and wear red every year for these pictures!  It was awesome to see her running around with the football and rolling in the grass with the dog.  Mom has the song “Gymbo the clown goes up and down” stuck in her head after looking at the pictures from the session:).  Thanks to Heather for having dad capture these wonderful memories of her little girl playing and showing her wonderful personality!

Celia and Jake’s Engagement Session

Before winter hit New England, Celia and Jake came down to Florida to enjoy the weather here.  Dad met up with them for a really fun engagement session!  They started at the mini golf course where they played with gators, explored the tunnels, and kissed behind a waterfall.  The session ended with the couple enjoying a Florida sunset on the beach.  Dad had a blast with Celia and Jake!  We love when couples can let loose, be themselves, and be silly in front of the camera.  Even when it means bringing out “creepy hand!”

Celia was so sweet and brought cupcakes and chocolates for dad to bring home for all of us.  They even had the Jason Angelini Photography logo box and our initials on them!  Celia, you ROCK and you are super talented!  Dad cannot wait for Celia and Jake’s wedding near Boston in the summer.  Talking with them through their planning we know they have lots of beautiful ideas for their big day.  See you two then!

2 Year Old Portrait Session in Downtown Tampa

We are so blessed to have met some of our very best friends through our business.  Years ago we met a special family who was then welcoming their little girl into their lives.  Time went by and they had a third child, another girl, and we were able to photograph her newborn session, six month session, and one year session.  Now Andrea and Eric’s youngest just turned two!  Seeing this family grow and, through that time, growing our friendship with them has been incredible.  They an amazing family.  We love you guys and we are so happy to have you as friends!  See you Sunday for round two of your busy season:)!

Wedding at the Palmetto Club: Lauren and Thomas

Congratulations to Lauren and Thomas on their beautiful wedding which was held at the Palmetto Club at Fishhawk Ranch.  The bride and groom are a terrific couple and their friends and family were so excited to share in their happiness and see them become husband and wife.  Lauren and Thomas are truly loving and supportive of one another and we are so happy that they had us share in the start of their lives together!  Bloomingdale Florist was there for the flowers and Olympia Catering made the food and the cake.  The wedding colors were black and white and pink with all the bridesmaids in black dresses.  The great thing about black bridesmaid dresses is that they will definitely be able to wear their dresses again!  The couple’s ceremony ended just as the sun was setting so dad took the bride and groom out after dark for pictures in front of the buildings and on the streets nearby.  The night ended with a sparkler send off for the newlyweds!  After the wedding the couple headed out on a cruise to the Western Caribbean.

Lauren and Thomas, we hope you keep in touch, and we can’t wait to see your pretty Christmas card!  Congratulations again!

Mom loves Pac-Man and Mrs. Pac-Man!

Colored shoes under a wedding gown always add some fun.
