Newborn Twin Boys

Joanna brought her twin boys over for their newborn session on their 1 month birthday. It was so cute to see them cuddle and snuggle with each other!  Thanks to Joanna and her mom for bringing the boys by for the session.  The boys are so cute!

Mom thinks this picture looks like they are getting ready to do battle Matrix style!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope all of you had a mouth-full-of-mashed-potatoes kind of Happy Thanksgiving!  As we said on our Facebook page, we feel so blessed and thankful for all of the awesome people that we get to work with.  Thanks for letting us share in the special moments in your lives, and for letting us make a living doing something that we truly love!  We hope all of you had a wonderful holiday.

Honeymoon Island Engagement Session: Samantha and Christian

Samantha and Chris spent a morning at the beach for their engagement session with dad.  They went to Honeymoon Island and brought their dog along to enjoy the dog park there as well.  Their dog was a riot running around and having a blast!  Samantha and Chris were sweet together and didn’t mind all the kissing and hand holding for the session at all:).  Dad had them climbing on things, under things, and through things and they were great through all of it.  Dad is excited to see them both again for their wedding in May!

Little Harbor Engagement Session: Amanda and Eric

Amanda and Eric spent the afternoon with dad for their engagement session in Little Harbor.  They were great people and dad enjoyed being able to spend some time with them.  Mom loved the red dress that Amanda wore!  She looked amazing!  The evening ended with a beautiful Florida sunset which had the whole sky in shades of orange.  The couple will be getting married in June and dad is looking forward to seeing them start their lives together.  Thanks for a great session Amanda and Eric!

Wedding at Mattison’s Riverside Restaurant: Lauren and Brock

Dad enjoyed spending the day with Lauren and Brock at their engagement session so he knew he was going to have fun with them on their big day.  They are a down-to-earth, happy couple and their wedding day was a beautiful and fun event!  Lauren had her hair and makeup done at her bridesmaid’s salon, Southern Roots salon in Sarasota.  Everyone then headed over to Mattison’s Riverside Restaurant where the wedding was going to take place.  Bee Ridge Florist did a terrific job on the flowers and the purple hydrangea and green orchids in Lauren’s bouquet looked pretty!  Before the ceremony Lauren and Brock had a first sight where they were able to spend a few minutes alone with each other taking in the excitement of the day before gathering their family and wedding party for the group pictures.

After the ceremony dad spent time with Lauren and Brock for their bride and groom pictures before they entered the reception.  The purple and green wedding colors were used in the menu and favor tags at each place setting as well as the table centerpieces.  Dad loved seeing all the engagement images that the couple used at their reception.  A large framed picture was the guest signature mat, there was a photo book of images telling all about their session, and the guest book table had pictures framed in modern green and purple frames which mom really loved!  The DJ for the reception was DJ Fitz from Jay Goodley Entertainment and the cake was made by Pastries by Design.

Lauren and Brock were the epitome of “the happy couple.”  They smiled and laughed and enjoyed every second of their wedding day!  Dad said anyone with them couldn’t help but smile and share in their happiness too.  Congratulations to Lauren and Brock!  We hope Cancun was awesome!
