Wedding at Mattison’s Riverside: Holly and David

Dad met Holly when she was a bridesmaid in Samantha and Jason’s wedding.  Holly’s big day came at the beginning of July when she married David.  Dad was happy to be there to witness Holly and David exchange their vows at the Palma Sola Presbyterian Church and then celebrate at their reception at Mattison’s Riverside Restaurant.  The greens, blues, and creams used as wedding colors came together in the flowers that were made by Flowers by Edie.  Wayne DeLair of DeLair Entertainment was the DJ at the reception and the cake was made by Mr. Cheesecake.  Dad got to catch up a bit with Samantha and Jason at the reception too!

Before the couple went to the reception, they stopped by a nearby restaurant.  Both Holly and David have memories of going there when they were young and they wanted to stop by to share a shake.  At the restaurant the couple saw the big sign had a message congratulating them!  How fun!  Congratulations newlyweds!  Thanks for being a terrific couple.  Dad had a great time sharing the start of your married life with you!

Wedding at the South Seas Resort: Katie and Drew

Katie and Drew had a beautiful wedding in Captiva.  Their ceremony was at the Church of the Resurrection of our Lord and the reception followed at the South Seas Island Resort.  Dad loves going there for weddings.  The bride’s gown was from Priscilla of Boston and mom thinks pocket gowns are so fun!  Katie looked gorgeous.  The wedding colors were blue and green with creams and whites.  There were blue and green table runners on the dinner tables.  On top of the tables there were sand filled candle holders with star fish and seashells inside as well as bunches of hydrangea.  Floral Artistry put together the floral arrangements and Mason’s Bakery made the gorgeous cake.  The DJ for the reception was Danny Morgan of Thank You For the Dance Entertainment.

Congratulations newlyweds, and best wishes for your future together!

Wedding at LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort: Leslie and Jamie

Dad was in Naples for Leslie and Jamie’s beautiful beach wedding.  The couple live in California and dad had photographed their beach engagement session when they came to Florida in December.  Leslie and Jamie had a wedding coordinator from California to help them plan their wedding day.  Kelly from A Savvy Event was the coordinator and dad enjoyed working with her.  The team of vendors for this wedding was awesome!!  The wedding was held at the beautiful LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort.  Leslie and Jamie had Ian from Movie Magic Productions as their videographer.  Dad loves working with him, and with Rob Sword who was the officiant and DJ.  Stephanie from Fishhawk Florist did the flowers, Jamie Lyn Cintron was there for hair and makeup, and Ella’s Cakes made the wedding cupcakes.

The pinks and greens of this wedding along with the beach details like starfish and sand dollars all looked so pretty together.  It was a great Florida summer wedding and though the weather started out looking threatening it didn’t disrupt the day at all.  Congratulations newlyweds, and thanks for having dad share in your special day!  He had a great time with you!
