We’re On Vacation!

Woo hoo, we’re on vacation!  We are off on a road trip to the mountains to do some hiking and see some sights.  Please be patient if we do not answer emails or phone calls right away.  We’ll be back at the end of the week.  Wish us luck…a long car ride with 3 young kids might make us need a vacation from our vacation when we return!

Happy Father’s Day!

Dada,

Mom asked us a few questions about you for Father’s Day.  We wanted to share a few of mom’s favorite answers here on the blog for you.

.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do with daddy?

E:  I like to play choo choos with daddy.

C:  Break ice.

E:  Oh, I like to break ice.
.

Q: What does dad do to make you laugh?

C: Tickle me.

E:  Tickle me.

C:  He’s a pretty funny guy, but since he’s so funny I can’t think of any funny stuff he does.  He did teach me a cow joke.  I forgot it but I know he taught it.  I’m best at knock knock jokes.
.

Q:  What makes daddy happy?

C: When I go places with him and stuff.  And when I give something to him.

E: Hug
.

Q:  What is the silliest thing about your dad?

C:  He calls me punk!  And C-dog!

E:  Nothing.

C:  Can I answer for him?  He calls him E-dog!
.

Q:  How do you know daddy loves you?

C:  I just do.  He gives me hugs and gives me a kiss and he’s just my dad.

E:  He gives me hugs and kiss.

Mom:  Do you have to say everything your brother says?
.

Q:  What makes your dad the best dad?

C:  He’s my dad.  I just want my dad.
.

Happy Father’s Day to a wonderful man, a loving husband, and a terrific father!  We love you!

Wedding at the Mirror Lake Lyceum: Bonnie and Karl

“It’s more than a feeling, this is the real thing we got here.

We are flirting with greatness, God’s been so gracious.

He is holding onto you.

And me.

And we can rest easy…”

Bonnie and Karl are an awesome couple!  They were so much fun at their engagement session, dixielicious and all, and dad was really excited to be there for their wedding day!  They were married at Church by the Sea with their reception following at Mirror Lake Lyceum.  Cari of Kyle Lynn Cosmetics did Bonnie’s hair and makeup, not that Bonnie needed much help.  She is gorgeous!  Janet Baldwin was the florist, Orange Blossom was the caterer, Cakes by Carolyn made the cake, and the terrific Doug Decker of Grant Hemond was the DJ.

Bonnie and Karl are so in love with their faith and with life, and both of those just strengthens their love for each other.  Their happiness is contagious and you cannot help but smile when you see them together.  We know they have a long and wonderful future to look forward to.  Bonnie and Karl, thank you for letting us share in your happy memories!  Congratulations to a fantastic couple, and keep in touch!

Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and Citricos at the Grand Floridan: Wendy and Eric

Wendy and Eric are not only a gorgeous couple, but they are so much fun as well!  They were married at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion with their cake and champagne reception at Citricos Restaurant at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Walt Disney World.  Their wedding colors were black and white and yellow which always look so great together!  When Wendy first contacted us, she described herself and Eric as kids at heart.  Well of course anyone who knows dad knows that is him as well so he hit it off right away with Wendy and Eric!  Despite the rain pouring down outside, the bride and groom had a blast and didn’t stop laughing and enjoying themselves for a minute.  Wendy and Eric, we wish you a life filled with the love, laughter, and happiness you shared on your wedding day.  Congratulations!

Mom loves Eric’s tie!

Just for Wendy and Eric:

Q: What did the bartender say when oxygen, hydrogen, sulfur, sodium, and phosphorous walked into his bar?
A: OH SNaP!

Wedding at the Chelsea Center: Stefanie and Patrick

Congratulations to Stefanie and Patrick!  They were married at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Sarasota with their reception following at the Chelsea CenterOlympia was their caterer and the awesome Rob Sword of Sword Sounds was the DJ.  Stefanie and Patrick had black and white damask with red accents as their colors.  Stefanie had gorgeous red shoes to go with their colors, not to mention her beautiful red hair!  Their bride and groom pictures show that not all beautiful sunsets have to be on the beach.  The newlyweds are headed of on a cruise to Europe for their honeymoon.  We hope they have a fabulous time!

Patrick is the only one not dancing!
