Kalyn’s Baby Bump

We are so excited for this growing family! Dad photographed Kalyn and Daniel’s wedding in 2008 and they came back for her super fun maternity session at the beach which dad is helping us blog about. Kalyn has such an amazing glow and Daniel is thrilled to become a daddy! They had so much fun at the session, from shooting in a hole to seeing Daniel jump for joy:). Congratulations and we can’t wait to meet your beautiful baby.

We normally don’t put baby names on the blog but mom loved this picture lots and Kalyn said it was okay so we wanted to share!

Amy’s Bok Tower Garden Bridals

Dad assisting again:).  A few weeks ago Dad had a great time photographing Amy’s bridal session. We recently posted about Amy and Evan’s fun wedding (also did their engagement session) and now that the wedding is over we can share these pictures of Amy without having to worry about Evan taking a peek before the big day!

Bridal sessions are a great way to capture images of the beautiful bride without the wedding day time constraints. Dad met Amy, her mom and grandma at the wonderful Bok Tower Gardens. Despite being blown around by the wind and being attacked by an over zealous swan (dad even had his shoes pecked at) they found some great locations to photograph the awesomeness of Amy. Enjoy!

Wedding at the Mirror Lake Lyceum: Amy and Evan

After an engagement session in February and a bridal session in March, dad was happy to photograph Amy and Evan’s wedding in April!  They were married at the Mirror Lake Lyceum.  Amy had her hair and makeup done at Spa Olimpia and the couple had Carter’s Florist for their bouquets, Delectables as the caterer, Ty Chaney with Dueling Pianos for entertainment, A Piece of Cake for the wedding cake, and A Better Cheesecake for the groom’s cake.  Amy might not have had it on her vendor list but mom thinks that one of Amy’s best vendors was White House Black Market for her fabulous shoes!  Of course they were perfect for a white and black themed wedding.  All of the bridesmaids wore black dresses and the groomsmen wore black tuxes.

Amy and Evan are terrific together and we know there is much happiness for them in their future.  Dad has really enjoyed being part of the excitement leading up to their day and of course sharing their wedding day with them as well!  Congratulations newlyweds!

Wedding at the Don Vicente de Ybor: Linley and Douglas

Linley and Douglas’s wedding was gorgeous.  The details all looked amazing together!  They had bright blues and greens and purples as the colors with peacock feather details in the same colors.  Feathers were on everything from the tables to the seating chart to the mini cupcake display.  There were gold bird cages with candles inside and of course peacocks on top to go with the peacock feathers.  The gold bird cages were accented by the gold table settings placed on bright blue and green linens.  Many of the flowers were orchids, including mini orchids which hung alongside crystals from tree branch centerpieces which served as table numbers as well.  Not only did the details and decor look terrific, but of course the bride and groom did as well! Linley was truly stunning in her lace covered gown, bird cage veil, and vintage inspired hair and makeup done by the Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group.  The Don Vicente de Ybor Historic Inn was a great setting for this romantic and vintage themed wedding.

Congratulations to Linley and Douglas on a beautiful wedding day and what is sure to be a beautiful life together!

Lange Farm Wedding: Kristen and Chris

With all the laughs they had at their engagement session, dad knew Kristen and Chris was going to have a wedding day that was full of love and happiness.  They were married at the beautiful Lange Farm, one of dad’s favorite places for weddings.  Dad got to work with Michelle who does a great job.  Everyone always loves Darla Stafford who was their to share her talents for Kristen’s hair and makeup.  The couple also had the incredible Rob Sword from Sword Sounds as both the officiant and the DJ.  Delectables was the caterer and the yummy Disney cake was made by Laurie of A Piece of Cake.  What an awesome team of vendors to work with!

Kristen and Chris chose a pretty persimmon color along with a chocolate brown as their wedding colors.  Dad loved that they strung up pictures on a clothesline as decoration and included some of their fun engagement images.  Mom’s favorite detail was the string of pearls that Kristen had draped on her bouquet.  Pearls make every wedding feel more classic and romantic!  Kristen and Chris, have fun on your Disney cruise and we hope you do live happily ever after!
