Monica’s Maternity Session at Fort DeSoto

Early in the morning on the Tuesday after Christmas dad met Monica and Jeff at Fort DeSoto for a maternity session.  On that day three years before, dad was with Monica and Jeff as Monica’s sister Rachel married Seth in a beautiful ceremony by the water.  It has been wonderful for us to keep in touch with Rachel and Seth and to meet and photograph their adorable son!  Now their son will soon have a new cousin and on Rachel and Seth’s anniversary dad was with Monica and Jeff, photographing Jeff playing the guitar for his baby just as he played the guitar during the wedding ceremony three years before.  We LOVE what we do!

Mail and Ads and Blogs: Our Pictures Put to Use!

Mom Blogging:

I love seeing our images put to use.  In the mail the other day we received Caroline and David’s Save the Date card.  They are such a sweet couple and we loved the picture they chose from their engagement session!  It shows what a cute couple they are and how happy they are to be in love.  We’ve been hearing some of the planning details from Caroline’s wonderful mom and it is going to be an amazing wedding!

Also in the mail we received a thank you card from newlyweds Marisol and Neil.  It had a pretty flower cut out on the front:

and a nice message to Jason thanking him for photographing their wedding on the inside:

Elissa and Rick were also just married and are a terrific couple.  I got to meet them at our Christmas party and they were great people.  After seeing their images they wrote:

Jason,

Thank you so much for the amazing job you did at our wedding!  Everyone (including us) was amazed at you being everywhere!  The pictures are great – I think you got a pic of everyone who was there!  Now the hard part is picking out which pictures we want :)   Thank you also for the Christmas party invite – it was great to meet your family!  You are great at what you do.  Thank you.

Elissa and Rick

It was also fun for us to see two of our pictures in Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group‘s ad in the Perfect Wedding Guide (on the right):

Wedding blogs are a great place to get ideas for your own wedding planning.  Brenda’s Wedding Blog is a great one with daily updates and lots of pictures.  We are honored that she shared a ring pictures from Stephanie and Nick’s wedding on her “Ringing in the New Year” blog post!

Seeing our pictures put to great uses, getting these terrific thank you cards…2010 is starting off wonderfully!

Cousins and a New Baby Boy!

Kendra and Brandon recently celebrated their first anniversary!  Just one week later, they welcomed a beautiful baby boy into their family.  We are so happy for them!  Dad has photographed their engagement session, wedding, and Kendra’s Back in the Dress session so he was very excited to meet their son and see their family grow.  Kendra’s sister and her amazing family came for pictures as well.  They were a blast and seemed really happy and relaxed for having three young boys :) .  Dad said it was a great time.  Congratulations again to Kendra and Brandon!

Mom loved this “outtake”:

Only Kendra and Brandon’s adorable daughter could looked so gorgeous and poised on a big concrete block!

Baby brother (and his AWESOME shoes!):

One of mom’s favorites:

So cute!  You may have noticed that we used to have this blog post named after this image but we were getting some crazy search terms so we changed it.

Cynthia and Andre’s Ybor City Engagement Session

When dad walked up and saw Andre’s Blink If You Want Me tee shirt, he knew this session was going to be awesome.  Cynthia and Andre had their engagement session in Ybor the day after Christmas.  They are such a cute couple and dad had a blast with them!  He was so bummed that he was booked for their wedding date. Cynthia and Andre, doesn’t April 11th sound like it would be a great day to be married instead?

We wish you two all the best.  We know you will still be laughing with each other when you are an old married couple.

The headphones they put on ROCK!

Lindsay and David’s Engagement Session at the University of Tampa

The morning after Christmas Day dad met up with Lindsay and David for their engagement session at the University of Tampa.  Dad had a good time with them and is looking forward to their wedding the day after Thanksgiving.  The first thing mom noticed when looking through their pictures was Lindsay’s gorgeous yellow heels!  Mom thinks she should wear them again with her wedding gown.  See you next holiday season Lindsay and David!

Welcoming In a New Decade

Some of our New Year’s Eve:

New Year’s Eve Toasts and Cheers:

What kid doesn’t loving staying up super late and being allowed to make lots of noise?!  (and no, if you look closely you will see that is NOT Jason’s middle finger you people with bad minds!)

It is going to be a fantastic year, we just know it!  Our lives are filled with love!  We have our own wonderful family and we get to work with amazing couples and families and capture their love for each other.  We are blessed!  A sincere thank you to all of you who make that possible.  Happy 2010 to everyone!

Baby Boom, Part Three

The last of the three newborn sessions dad photographed just before Christmas was with a baby girl who was just six days old.  Dominique and Phillip had a maternity session with dad just one month ago and we were looking forward to hearing that their daughter had arrived.  After she made her debut, dad went over to their house to meet the baby and photograph her newborn session.  She was so precious and her parents are head over heels for her of course!  Dad is looking forward to the next session and cannot wait to see Dominique and Phillip’s daughter grow!

Baby Boom, Part Two

The second of three newborn sessions that dad photographed the Monday before Christmas was with Jennifer and Shawn’s one week old son.  Dad had photographed Jennifer and Shawn’s wedding 4 1/2 years ago (they had one of our favorite groom’s cakes) and was thrilled to see them again and hear their good news.  It is a wonderful thing to have full circle moments like this, where dad gets to share in a wedding day and the family growing after.  Jennifer and Shawn’s son was born just a couple days after Jennifer’s birthday.  What a perfect birthday gift!  Newborn babies are just so cute.  Congratulations on your new blessing Jennifer and Shawn!

Jennifer and Shawn brought this hat and the picture makes mom laugh!  It will be fun to see pictures of him with the hat on as he gets bigger, until it finally fits.

On the 10th Day of Christmas…

We were going to wait until the 12th day of Christmas to blog our family Christmas photos but we have so much to share on the blog from our family and sessions and weddings so we didn’t want to wait any more!  So for the 10th day of Christmas you not only get 10 lords a’ leaping but you also get pictures from the Angelini family Christmas!  And c’mon, how many lords a’ leaping do you really need anyways?

Getting ready to leave for Mass on Christmas Eve:

Making a gingerbread house:

The only problem with making a gingerbread house with two young kids is that the frosting is so yummy that you run out before you can finish using it to decorate!

Peek-a-boo!

Our whole family spends the night with us on Christmas Eve so our Christmas tree ended up half buried in all the presents:

Some of the toys Santa left out on Christmas morning!

Little brother checking out the goods in his stocking:

Big brother got tons of Star Wars stuff!  He found a few left out from Santa Christmas morning:

Baby’s First Christmas:

She got a ton of presents!  At just 5 months old, how many presents do you really need?!

Both boys asked Santa for new bikes:

Big brother also asked Santa for a Leapster, and he loves it!  Dad tried to tell him to “turn off the game” and big brother corrected dad, telling him it isn’t just a game, it is for learning.  Besides the leapster, Santa brought big brother a VMotion system and little brother a VSmart Baby system so needless to say we had to set up new tv rules and limits to include video games.

Spike the Dinosaur was a big hit with big brother…and with dad!  Thanks Grandma!

Baby sister got some super cute new girly toys!  It is fun to have a girl in the family :) .

One of mom’s favorite things that little sister received was this adorable Chloe doll from Pottery Barn.  Thanks Grammy!

What do you get a photographer for Christmas?  The new Fuji Instax for some poloroid style fun!

Dad has been reading the Dexter books and now he can watch the show:

There aren’t any pictures of little brother playing with his new toys because he crashed during dinner and stayed asleep the rest of the day!  All the excitement of getting ready for Santa the night before and then opening all the presents Christmas morning caught up to him.

Of course presents are just a small part of our Christmas.  We have the most pictures of that because we put the camera down for “quality time.”  We spent the rest of Christmas day eating a yummy dinner and then having fun trying out new toys and playing games with family and friends.  We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas with your loved ones!  Spending Christmas with our family is part of what gives the day its joy and magic.  These are the memories and traditions that we will carry on and pass down to future generations, just as mom and dad included traditions from their own childhoods.

Baby Boom

The Monday before Christmas there was a baby boom for dad!  He met three newborn babies in one day.  They are only this tiny for such a short time and it is an honor for dad to capture these memories for families.  Amber brought her new daughter over for a session early that morning.  Mom could not believe how little the baby looked compared to our sister who is only a few months older!  She was precious.  Congratulations to the growing family!

The sweet picture of the baby in her parents’ hands:

But this one is much more fun!
