Leslie and Jamie’s Engagement Session at Lido Beach

Leslie and Jamie came down to Florida for a busy trip of wedding planning meetings and visiting family.  While they were here, they met up with dad at Lido Beach for their engagement session.  They are so cute together.  They were laughing and being silly and having fun being an engaged couple looking forward to their big day.  They are only six months away from being newlyweds!  See you soon Leslie and Jamie!

‘Tis the Season

We had an awesome time at our Christmas party last weekend!  Thank you so much to everyone who came.  When we invited everyone in a blog post, we said it was our way to celebrate with all of you since you include us in the celebrations in your lives.  We are grateful to all of you who allow us to capture your special moments and share in your memories.  It is a blessing for us to be able to work doing what we love, and in the process we meet many incredible people and make some wonderful friends.  In the spirit of the season, we want to say thank all of you and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

We also want to thank Stacy of Meant to Be Wed for doing such an awesome job helping us put everything together, and Catering by the Family who served yummy food and were terrific to work with.

Our guest of honor at the party was none other than Santa himself!!  He was there for pictures with the kids, and for the adults too:).  Santa’s elves were at the party too and had an activity table for kids to make a Santa’s workshop scene, choo choo trains, ornaments, and other Christmas crafts.

Big brother showing off his creation of Santa’s workshop:

Little brother was not that excited to see Santa.  He wouldn’t sit on his lap but with coaxing he was okay to stand near him briefly.  We thought he might cry but he was just nervous.

Stacy and her beautiful family:

Some of the kids were so excited to meet Santa!

But mom’s favorite pictures are those were only some of the kids were excited and some were…not so much:

Megan showing that you are never too old to sit on Santa’s lap!

As the party ended, little brother slowly walked back over to Santa’s chair.  After being so nervous earlier in the day we were interested to see what he was going to do.  Dad asked him if he wanted to sit on Santa’s lap and little brother slowly nodded.  He was hesitant, but soon sat on his lap, asked Santa to bring him “toys” for Christmas, and then even smiled for his picture!

You can see more Santa pictures in the album on our Facebook Page.  Just look for Jason Angelini Photography’s Fan page.

Santa of course is a celebrity!  Some of the kids were star struck to see the man that had the magic of Christmas walking around the party.

Big brother followed Santa around the room every where.  He would come to mom and excitedly tell her everything that Santa was doing.  When Santa sat down to eat, big brother couldn’t let him sit alone.  He brought over the Santa he made out of stickers and tried to act cool despite his excitement as he casually chatted with the man himself!

We also had the talented Kathryn Flocken of Silhouettes by Kathryn there creating hand-cut silhouettes.  Everyone loved it!  We are going to frame all of our family’s silhouettes together.

Del’s silhouette:

One of dad’s favorite silhouettes was David’s.  The hat and facial hair looked so cool!

Of course Santa’s silhouette rocked too!

The other hit of the party was the entertainment.  There were live carolers singing traditional Christmas songs.  They were absolutely amazing!  Sean thought they were good enough to text about.

Besides the yummy dinner and desserts from Catering by the Family, mom also had a hot chocolate bar set up.  Most people enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate, but a few people thought a lid full of toppings was better.  Marshmallows and chocolate chips make a great treat!

Kids help make Christmas special with the innocence and wonder they bring to the holiday.

Our family wants to send all of you happiness, love, and blessings this holiday season.  We hope you are surrounded by friends and family and looking forward to a great year ahead!

Leah and Andrew’s Wedding at the Lange Farm

Dad photographed Leah and Andrew’s engagement session 6 months ago and they had fun climbing onto buildings and splashing in the water.  Their wedding day was the Sunday after Thanksgiving at the Lange Farm.  This is one of dad’s most favorite locations for both the venue and the staff.  He loved being there for weddings two days in a row!  David and his wife from Trinity Wedding Video were the videographers and they are great to work with.  Leah had the wonderful Cari of Kyle Lynn for hair and makeup.  Mom loved how Leah’s hair and makeup looked!  Kathy from Northside Florist did the flowers and the always terrific Doug Decker from Grant Hemond was the DJ at the reception.

Leah and Andrew had a peacock theme for their wedding.  The shimmery greens and blues looked pretty together!  Peacock feathers lined the ceremony aisle, and guests had programs that fanned out just like a peacock’s tail feathers.  Reception centerpieces were bird cages filled with flowers and a peacock sitting on top.  It was such a unique and creative idea for a theme and the couple did an awesome job pulling it together and making it look beautiful.

Congratulations Leah and Andrew!

Leah’s dress had amazing detailing!  It was from Sarasota Brides.

Elissa and Richard at the Lange Farm

Elissa and Richard were married at the Lange Farm on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  They have been patiently waiting to see some of their images on our blog!  Mom was able to meet Elissa and Richard at our Christmas party this past Sunday and they were such a sweet and kind couple.  They are terrific together, and they had such a pretty wedding.  Julissa of Beauty Brought Out did Elissa’s hair and makeup and she looked gorgeous.  Rob Sword of Sword Sounds was the officiant and also the DJ for the reception.  Dad loves working with him.  It was an awesome day and we are so happy that we got to share in it with them.  Congratulations Elissa and Richard, and we hope you come again to next year’s Christmas party!

Jennifer and John at South Seas Resort

While many of you were out shopping to find Black Friday deals, Jennifer and John made the deal of a lifetime!  We know, we know, that was cheesy:).  Jennifer and John were married on the day after Thanksgiving at the South Seas Island Resort.  It is a gorgeous location and dad was excited to be down there again!  The florist was Beth of Floral Artistry, Thank You for the Dance did the music, and Mason’s Bakery made the cake for the event.  The bride and groom took a break from their reception to enjoy the colors of the beautiful sunset on the rocks by the water.  Congratulations Jennifer and John!
