First Birthday at the Beach

A little over a year ago, dad met Lindsey and Bernard’s baby girl for her newborn session.  He got to see her again the week before last but now she was a toddler walking all around!  Her parents are just as madly in love with her and dad said it was great seeing Lindsey’s face light up every time she looked at her daughter.  It was a fun day at the beach complete with a cake smashing to end the afternoon.  Happy first birthday!

Eight Month Old Session

Two weeks ago, Gina and Kenny brought their eight month old son over for a portrait session.  Dad had been waiting to meet their little boy since he was a newborn so it was great to finally meet him and his parents!  Mom loved the cute newsboy hat with sweater vest and boots that he wore for his session.  He looked adorable!

Kate and Adam at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates

One of the most fun weddings dad has photographed was Lori and Eric’s wedding which ended with the entire wedding party at the bowling alley!  Dad got to see them again on their first anniversary as they were guests at their friends Kate and Adam’s wedding.  Dad had been looking forward to this wedding and what an awesome day it would be!  Mom knew from talking with Kate on Twitter that she and Adam were a terrific couple and were planning a wedding day that would reflect the two of them as individuals and as a couple.

Kate and Adam had Kelly from No Worries Weddings as their planner and she did a great job.  The wedding was held at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates with the ceremony in front of the water.  The reception featured brunch food, including omelettes which dad loves!  The Royal Palm Yacht Club was the caterer.

The newlyweds had the perfect honeymoon. After years of having it on hold, they headed north to finish recording their album!  We hope it was a blast and successful too!  Thank you for having us as part of your wedding team, and we wish you both the best of luck!

Melissa and David at the Lion’s Club

The Friday before last was Melissa and David’s wedding day.  They were married on the beach and had their reception at the St. Petersburg Lions Club.  There were lots of bright colored flowers and Melissa wore a dress that laced up with black ribbon in the back and had black ribbon around the waist.  There was a long black and white patterned train as well.  At the reception were wine bottles personalized with the couple’s picture for guests to enjoy.  Dad liked the Wonder Woman and Silent Bob cake topper figurines.

Congratulations Melissa and David!  We wish you lots of happiness and love in your life together as husband and wife!

Dominique’s Maternity Session

In just a week and a half Dominique is expecting her first baby.  Time may seem to go by slowly with how anxious Dominique and her husband are to meet their baby, but once the baby arrives time will fly by!  She came over for her maternity session to capture memories of this special time.  When she pulled up, mom was putting us in the car to leave and little brother decided to show Dominique and her husband what their lives would soon be like.  He threw a toddler tantrum about putting his shoes on, but they didn’t seem phased at all.  They are going to be wonderful parents :) .  Good luck and we cannot wait to meet the new baby!

Kristen’s Maternity Session

Kristen is such a gorgeous mama to be!  She came over for her maternity session a week ago and truly had that pregnant mommy glow.  In just a few weeks she will be able to meet her little boy.  We can’t wait to meet him as well.  Good luck Kristen!  We are so happy to be part this time of excitement and anticipation!

Cindy and Bruce’s Engagement Session in Ybor City

We are blogging a little out of order while we catch up!  Weddings from the Friday and Saturday before last are soon to come.

Last Sunday dad had a fun day with four sessions.  He started his morning in Ybor City with Cindy and Bruce.  They were so much fun!  Dad really enjoyed walking around Ybor with them and said they kept him smiling.  He said they were very upbeat and happy for being there so early in the morning!

Cindy and Bruce are getting married in Boston next fall and dad is super excited to be going there to photograph their wedding!  Since the wedding is on dad’s birthday weekend, we decided that we would all go and make a family trip out of it.  We can’t wait!  Hope you had a nice trip down here, and see you in the fall Cindy and Bruce!

Melissa and Enrique at the Lake Mary Events Center

We are back to blogging and have so much to share!

Just after dad got back from Vegas, he joined Melissa and Enrique for their wedding at the Lake Mary Events Center.  We love this location!  The couple had a lakeside ceremony before their reception in the rotunda.  There was a violinist playing beautiful music during the ceremony and a harpist joined her for the reception.  In a Filipino wedding, it is tradition for the groom to present wedding coins to the bride as a symbol of prosperity for their future family.  They also included the veil ceremony where a veil is draped and pinned on the couple to show two people clothed as one.  Melissa and Enrique had a cocktail party style reception and their guests enjoyed visiting with one another and sharing their congratulations with the newlyweds.

Melissa and Enrique, thanks for having dad there to share your day!  Mabuhay!!
