Kim and Matt’s Wisconsin Wedding Coming to the Blog Soon!

Dad said Sheboygan rocked!  We can’t wait to share his pictures from Kim and Matt’s wedding!  We should have a full blog update very soon but here are a few pictures to set the scene…

Dad was surprised to find that surfing was actually a popular activity in Sheboygan!  Some even call it the “Malibu of the Midwest” and it is known as the world’s top destination for freshwater surfing.  If you do a google search for Surfing in Sheboygan, you’ll find lots of You Tube videos.  And Corona’s Dairyland Surf Classic had its 21st annual event there just a few weeks ago.

A Beautiful Thank You Card from Carolyn and Todd

Thank You cards make us smile:).  Carolyn and Todd were married in July (click here for their blog post).  They had a gorgeous wedding at the Casa Ybel Resort in Sanibel.  Some of dad’s pictures of their day were featured on blog for Casa Ybel Resort Weddings.

After the wedding, we received a beautiful Thank You card from them in the mail:

“Jason – it was a pleasure again!  Everyone commented on how great you were to work with.  The pictures turned out beautiful! As you can see from the card, we love the images!

Lucia – thank you so much for answering my questions, and being so helpful!  We wish you both the best, and have a great summer!

- Carolyn and Todd”

Mom and dad say thanks to both of you for including them in your day, and of course for the wonderful card.  You are such an awesome couple!

We were impressed with the quality of the thank you card and the pretty swirl design and asked Carolyn where she ordered them.  She told us about Plush Paper Creations where she had ordered her wedding day paper items.  They had also blogged about Carolyn and Todd’s thank you cards:

More of Carolyn and Todd’s wedding paper products can also be seen on Plush Paper Creation’s blog.  Click here to view that blog post of their blue and white beach themed paper items, as well as table numbers featuring their dog!

The Design Grove Blog

We are thrilled that both Megan and Jesse’s wedding and Lynn and Matthew’s wedding were featured on The Design Grove blog!  Lauren writes the blog and includes “anything and everything related to design” because “design is the key to a wedding.”  It is true that all the details that make up a wedding’s theme bring the bride’s vision of her wedding to life.

Lauren recently blogged about vintage weddings and featured two of our weddings.  Check out her “Vintage Weddings by Jason Angelini” blog post!

Lauren also recently blogged a “Vintage Garden” inspiration board using one of Megan and Jesse’s pictures.  The vintage themed wedding is becoming a popular new trend, with bird cage veils, wing tip shoes, chandeliers, and other beautiful details.

Thanks to Lauren for including us on your blog!

Katrina and Brian at the Magnolia Building

On Sunday dad was in Lakeland for Katrina and Brian’s wedding at The Magnolia Building.  Katrina and Brian are friends with two of our past couples.  Kyla and Corey were married last October, and Erin and Eric were married three years ago.  They were both married at the Magnolia Building as well!  Dad said it was so awesome seeing all of them again.  They are wonderful couples.

The morning of the wedding Katrina got ready at the Terrace Hotel.  She had Julie and Darla Stafford there for hair and makeup.  It is great for Jason whenever he gets to work with them.  Katrina and Brian arranged a first sight where they were able to share the emotional first moment that they saw each other without all of their guests around.  The flowers were from Petals of Lakeland.  The reception was decorated with a vintage bird theme.  Tables were named after birds and sketches of birds were on the chocolate bar favors and bags at the candy bar.  Doug Decker from Grant Hemond was the DJ and is always terrific.  Delectables Catering made the food which dad enjoyed.  After the reception, dad took Katrina and Brian out for a few night pictures.

The couple is headed to Ireland for their honeymoon.  That is going to be an amazing trip!  Have fun and congratulations Katrina and Brian!

Jessica and Aaron at the Don Vicente de Ybor

Jessica and Aaron were married on Saturday at the Don Vicente de Ybor, a beautiful historic inn.  Dad got to work with Jessica and Lori of Simply Divine Events.  They were the wedding coordinators and dad said they were great to work with.  Before the ceremony, Jessica and Aaron had a first sight. It is great when couples have that moment by themselves and can really take in the moment.  It makes it so special.  It also let Jessica and Aaron have more time for bride and groom images!  At the ceremony, the couple included their children by giving them each a family medallion necklace.  One of dad’s favorite moments of the day was when the groom’s young son gave his toast.  He said that when he first met Jessica, he told his dad, “Boy, you sure are lucky.”  What a sweet toast!  John from DJ Perfections was the DJ at the reception and the guests had fun dancing with the tambourines John handed out.  Chocolate π made the cake and it was decorated with beautiful swirl details.

The newlyweds are headed to Hawaii for their honeymoon.  Have a great time!
