It is wonderful to see the look in new parents’ eyes when they look at their baby. It is a look filled with the future and a lifetime of love. Laura and her husband brought their new baby girl over on Friday for a session. They were such a sweet family. You know someone is a good dad when their baby uses their hand as a diaper and they still smile at her. Congratulations to the new parents!
Kristina and Patrick were married on Saturday. They had their ceremony at Our Lady of Perpetual Help and their reception was in the Safari Lodge at the Lowry Park Zoo. Dad was super excited about pictures of the bride and groom with the animals! The ceremony was beautiful and after some pictures everyone headed over to the zoo…and then the clouds started getting dark. Just as Kristina and Patrick made it over to the giraffes the rain started. The giraffe ran away and all the rest of the animals went to find cover. It didn’t phase the newlyweds though! They went to their reception and enjoyed the party! Everyone had so much fun and it was a real celebration. Congratulations Kristina and Patrick!
The Grand Plaza is wonderful wedding venue! Dad always looks forward to photographing there. He was at the Grand Plaza last Thursday for Nacole and Scott’s wedding. Nacole first talked to dad just last month while dad was driving home to pick up mom’s hospital bag because she was in labor with our sister! We wonder what Nacole must have thought of him because we are sure he sounded excited and nervous at the same time! Nacole and Scott had their ceremony on the beach with the reception in the Presidential Ballroom. Thanks for having dad there and enjoy St. Thomas!

Alison, Trae, and their son are an amazing family. Dad met them a little over a year ago when they were still waiting for their little boy to arrive.
When Alison and Trae brought their son over for his newborn session we all got to meet him. We could already tell how much love and fun was in this family!
At five months old, their son’s personality was already showing itself. He had such funny expressions and such a cute smile.
We were sad when their family moved away, but they came back to Florida for a visit and dad was able to see them last Tuesday for their little boy’s one year old session! Dad went to Alison’s parents house and said that they were just as fun and kind as Alison and Trae. They also adored their grandson! He still had the same happy personality and he was still making his funny faces. Dad had a terrific time with the family and cannot wait for the next time they come back for a visit. Happy First Birthday!!

It made mom and dad so proud to see this wall of photos on Alison’s parent’s wall. They are framed prints of past sessions dad photographed of their grandson! It is an incredible honor to know that these images are decorating their family’s home and are going to be part of this family’s history and memories.
Dad had been looking forward to meeting Bambi and Mark. He met them in Tampa on Monday evening to photograph their engagement session. Dad said they were a wonderful couple. They were so sweet together and spent the session laughing and looking forward to their wedding which is less than a month away! It is going to be a lot of fun! Dad says he will see you two soon.
