Elizabeth and Bryan brought their youngest daughter over for a session on Wednesday. Dad hadn’t photographed her since she was a newborn and now she is 9 months! Along with her parents and her big sister, they have a wonderful family and it has been great to get to know them.

Dad met Stacy and Chi on Wednesday for their engagement session in Ybor City. Stacy lives in Wisconsin and Chi has been living in Africa, complete with a run-in with malaria and all! Stacy does photography as well and dad enjoyed talking with her about equipment and such. They met in the morning and had good light as they walked around the city for pictures. Stacy and Chi’s beach wedding is in November and is going to be a great time. 6 months to go!
Mom wishes her hair could hold curls. Stacy’s hair is so pretty!
Last Saturday Amanda and Caton were married at the Don CeSar. The couple had Beth of Flawless Occasions as the wedding coordinator and dad was happy to work with her again. Dad was also excited to see Cara from Hearts Video who was there for the ceremony and some of the portraits.
The ceremony was in the courtyard and Amanda and Caton had John Melchinger from A Perfect Witness as their officiant. Mom absolutely loved the orange color that the couple used throughout the wedding. The bridesmaids’ orange dresses were really cute and the flower girls wore white with orange sashes. The other details such as the chair bows, menus, and favor boxes brought together the orange theme very well. RJ Vida of Advance Entertainment Productions was the DJ for the reception and kept Amanda on the dance floor most of the night.
Dad said Amanda was lots of fun! Both Amanda and Caton are great people and have wonderful families. Dad enjoyed being there to capture these memories for them. Now if only the newlyweds would have decided to fly dad to Italy to document their honeymoon trip too!!
Kerin and Brian were married on Friday at the Lido Beach Resort in Sarasota. The couple live in Boston and came to Florida to have their wedding on the gorgeous beaches here. Beneva Flowers was the florist and used lots of orchids for the bride’s bouquet and the ceremony flowers. Orchid arrangements were on the corners of the bamboo canopy that Kerin and Brian had set up on the beach. Frank Lebano was the DJ for the reception and this group loved to party! The groom had some awesome dance moves, matched only by the lap dances done by a couple of the guests. Kerin and Brian were terrific and dad was happy to share their day with them. Congratulations Kerin and Brian!
We love this family! Not only do we get to photograph their three amazing kids, but through that we’ve been blessed enough to become friends with them and they are so much fun to hang out with. Andrea brought her youngest over for a six month portrait session on Thursday. She has dark hair and blue eyes which mom thinks is a gorgeous combination. Dad said that it was easy to get smiles out of her. We can’t wait to get both of our families together again!
