Michelle and Mark’s Maternity

Check out the alliteration in that title!

Michelle and Mark had a beautiful wedding (with one of the most dramatic sunsets I can remember!) at Feather Sound Country Club back in the summer of 2006.  We were thrilled to hear that they are expecting a baby boy at the end of this year!  Last Sunday they came over for a maternity session and were just wonderful.  They got to see a little of what toddler energy and persistence looks like which Mark thought was funny.

Congratulations on your blessing.  You two will be wonderful parents!

Alicia-Marie and Jason’s Engagement Session

Alicia-Marie and Jason had such a creative idea for their engagement session.  They wanted pictures in front of Raymond James Stadium where the Bucs play!  That is where the couple shared their first date and first kiss.  Dad is always happy to try something new so he met them for their session last Sunday.  It was football day, but there wasn’t a Bucs home game so the stadium wasn’t crowded.  But there were people there taking applications for jobs for the Super Bowl, and nearby houses were being advertised as for rent for Superbowl party houses!

After some pictures in front of the stadium, dad took Alicia-Marie and Jason around some areas nearby.  It was a fun afternoon!  Alicia-Marie and Jason will be getting married at the Grand Plaza next summer and we are looking forward to their wedding.

Kendra and Brandon at the Don Vicente

Kendra and Brandon were married last Saturday in Tampa.  Their ceremony was held at the Ybor City Museum with the reception at the Don Vicente de Ybor Historic Inn.  With Kendra’s mantilla veil and lace covered dress, Brandon’s classic tux, the candlelight, and the historic locations as a backdrop, the entire wedding had a very romantic almost old-world feel.

Dad got to work with Dream Day Productions for the second week in a row.  They did a great job helping the day run smoothly and dad is excited to see them again this weekend!  Chuck from Hearts Video was the videographer.  Dad was glad to work with him again.  Julissa Mercado from Beauty Brought Out was the stylist (Kendra looked gorgeous!) and Frank Lebano was the DJ at the reception.

At the engagement session, dad was able to meet the couple’s adorable daughter.  He was surprised at how much older she looked since then!  Mom loved that Kendra and Brandon included her in the ceremony and other parts of the day.  She was so excited about the whole wedding.

Kendra and Brandon are a down to earth couple and grounded in love.  We know they have a wonderful future ahead of them.  Congratulations!

Brandon had a tutorial on tying a bow tie…

…but it didn’t seem to help:)

WOW!  Kendra is stunning!

Family Dinner in Bradenton

The day after their rehearsal, dad was able to join Julie and Michael again for a family dinner at the Holiday Inn Bradenton Riverfront.  It was the evening before the wedding so the couple was so excited and wore huge smiles the whole night.  It is wonderful to have family come together for special events like weddings.  People danced and celebrated and enjoyed their time together.

We hope Julie and Michael had a wonderful wedding day.  Thank you for having us share in the anticipation and excitement!

Julie and Michael’s Rehearsal at the Sandbar

Julie and Michael were married on Saturday and though dad was not able to photograph their wedding, he was very happy to capture some of the memories of their wedding weekend.

The rehearsal was held at the Sandbar on Anna Maria Island.  The couple love sunset so dad was sure to take some pictures of them on the beach as the sun went down behind them.  Guests at the rehearsal were able to watch the beautiful sunset from the tent on the beach where they ate some great food, laughed, and enjoyed the music of a steel drummer.  It was a terrific night full of anticipation of the wedding just a couple days away!

At the rehearsal, dad met a couple who both graduated from the same university where he and mom graduated.  The girl he met even worked at a ski company where dad used to work as well!  What a fun coincidence!

Dad was able to join Julie and Michael and their family again the next night for a dinner get together so we’ll have pictures from that on the blog tomorrow.
