Janet and Nicholas

The Tradewinds Island Resorts in St. Petersburg is a beautiful place for a beach wedding.  Janet and Nicholas were married there last Friday.  We want to thank Nicholas for his military service!

Julissa with Beauty Brought Out was there during the getting ready for hair and makeup.  Janet had a beautiful updo and wore two white flowers in her hair rather than a veil.

The look on Nicholas’s face when he first saw Janet was so tender and loving.

Pictures with the bride and groom on the beach:

Nicholas changed into different clothes for the reception, and Janet wore a different dress.  She looked amazing in both of her dresses!

The wedding was intimate and romantic, and the guests had lots of fun celebrating at the reception!  Thanks to the bride and groom for having us there to capture the memories of the day.

Kim and Matt’s Engagement Session

Last week dad photographed Kim and Matt’s engagement session in Clearwater.  Dad is super excited about their wedding coming up next September in Wisconsin!  Kim and Matt were an awesome couple.  They were relaxed and focused on having fun through their session.  Matt proposed at the Sandpearl Resort so they started their session there.  Mom thinks it is sweet when couples choose locations that are meaningful to their relationship.  Here are some of the images from their session:

Thanks Kim and Matt!  See you next year!

Maternity Session: Bronwyn and Robin Awaiting Baby

Two and a half years ago dad photographed Bronwyn and Robin’s wedding at The Lange Farm.  Mom got to work with them on their album and soon they became good friends of ours.  They came over to celebrate Easter with us and shared the news that they were expecting!  Now, at 8 months pregnant, Bronwyn and Robin are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their baby boy.  Dad could not wait for their maternity session!  They came over a week ago and dad of course had a terrific time hanging out with them and getting some pictures of the parents-to-be.

Robin did pick her up, but the picture of him struggling is funnier.

This picture is a bit disturbing…

We are beyond excited for Bronwyn and Robin.  They are going to be fantastic parents!  Mom remembers going to lunch with Bronwyn not that long ago talking about what things would be like when she had a baby (Bronwyn was worried about climbing up lots of stairs with her stroller:)).  We cannot wait to meet the baby and have all boy play dates!  Bronwyn, mom says you and her have to plan another lunch ASAP so you don’t go into labor in the middle of it!

Are you ready for some football?

First flag football game of the season!

Coach teaching the most important part of the game:  “When our team has the ball, which way do we go?”

Wouldn’t the NFL be better if all the players smiled and showed how much fun they were having as they ran with the ball?!

We had a blast and can’t wait for next week!

Sharon and Mike in Captiva Island

The South Seas Resort is a gorgeous location and Dad had a wonderful time at Sharon and Mike’s wedding last Monday.  They came down from Boston for their Florida beach wedding, and though it was windy they had beautiful weather.

Sharon carried a romantic looking bouquet created by Jana of Floral Artistry and the bridesmaids’ bouquets had lots of hydrangea, the main flower from mom and dad’s own wedding!

The ceremony music was by Vanderbilt Strings and they played a great version of “The Final Countdown” as Mike walked down the aisle.  As Sharon walked down the aisle, escorted by her mom, you could see the excitement beaming on her face.

Fun with the bridal party on the rocks:

The DJ that evening was Mike from Danny Morgan Entertainment.  Before the reception was over dad, Sharon, and Mike stopped by Scoops, the resort ice cream shop. They have tons of candy, great ice cream, and some fun spots for photos!

What a wonderful wedding!  We are so happy for the two of you and we wish you so much happiness in your lives together. Congratulations!
