Though Lucia usually does the blogging, I (Jason) have been meaning to share this awesome event for a while.  It was great being part of a fun holiday event with the Health Tech Receivables Management employees. The talented Natalia Day of Days Remembered by ND planned the entire evening with great decor using the Cheval Country Club as her canvas. Not only did we photograph the event but we also set up a glitzy gold sequins background and printed those images on site for the guests to take home. Thank you for inviting us!

Adrienne and Michael were laughing and smiling all through their wedding day!  They were married at the South Tampa Fellowship Church and had a reception at the 1930 Grande Room.  We always love working with the fabulous Natalia Day of Days Remembered by ND who was the couple’s wedding planner!  Flowers were from Northside Florist and the deep colors of the bouquets looked beautiful against the bridesmaids’ dresses!  James from Grant Hemond helped to make the reception a blast.  Guests also had an amazing time at our photo booth,  The gorgeous 3 tiered wedding cake was from Let Them Eat Cake.

The bride and groom wanted a Gatsby-esque wedding that had a glitzy look in a historic atmosphere.  The bride did a wonderful job DIYing details to make the day unique!  She made canvas signs that led up the aisle and had lines from a Bible verse about love.  She also made a globe for guests to sign instead of a guest book and near it was a sign that said, “You mean the world to us!”  Having Adrienne’s crafts as personal details made the day even more special to the couple.

The ceremony included a cord tying ceremony.  This is becoming more popular and I love the meaningfulness of braiding the cord of three strands.  The reception was decorated with gorgeous pink uplighting, tall white feathers in vases and gold bottles, a gold sequin linen on the head table, gold table numbers, chargers, and chiavari chairs at the guest tables, and lots of candles!  The newlyweds took a quick break from their reception celebrations to get beads from a passing parade.  Congratulations Adrienne and Michael!

Lisa and Fernando made their wedding day reflect the things they love and the future they are building together.  It turned out beautifully!  They chose a vintage theme for their wedding, with lanterns, books, and garland for the decor.  Lisa had fun putting together a lot of the decorations herself to create what she called an “old-fashioned wedding.”

The ceremony was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church which has been Lisa’s church since she moved to Tampa.  The church’s history dates back to the early 1850s!  The reception was held at Centro Asturiano de Tampa which is on the National Register of Historic Places.  Having two historical venues fit the vintage theme of the day perfectly.

Lisa’s gown and her bridesmaids’ dresses were some of my favorite ever!  I love the romantic look of the lace.  Jason met Lisa at the church where, before the ceremony, Lisa and Fernando had a First Touch on opposite sides of a door.  They held hands and prayed together, which is the perfect way to start a wedding day!

The ceremony was a Nuptial Mass and it was sweet to see the looks the bride and groom exchanged and the happy smiles on their faces.  Afterward, Lisa, Fernando, and their wedding party took pictures around downtown Tampa before joining their guests for the wedding reception.  It was such a fun night!  Hidden Mickeys were placed around the reception to show the newlyweds’ love of Disney World.  The favors were jars of honey from Fernando’s family farm, and his uncle hand-filled all of the jars which made them even more special!  After the first dance and a blessing over the food, dinner was BBQ pork with beans.  Lisa and Fernando made a sundae and fed each other a bite of the ice cream instead of having a cake.  They didn’t want to do certain things just because it is tradition, which made their wedding show off their own style and what they care about!

We loved being part of this amazing day!  It was an honor.  Thank you to Lisa and Fernando for having Jason there to share in these memories with you!  God bless the two of you and your marriage!

  • Allure Boudoir Photography - Really nice photos and what a beautify bride!

  • Amanda - OMG. These photos are amazing. From the stained glass windows to the lightsabers. Just incredible!

Alyson and Brian had their families join them for an intimate wedding ceremony at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  After the ceremony, Jason and the newlyweds went to the University of Tampa for bride and groom pictures.  It was wonderful being part of their special day!  Thank you so much Alyson and Brian, and good luck in all the adventures to come!

Jenna and Zac were so sweet together at their engagement session and we’ve been looking forward to their big day!  They are high school sweet hearts and so obviously completely in love.  With their family and friends there to support them, Jenna and Zac began their married lives together with a beautiful wedding at the The Lange Farm.  Their vendor team included Film Monkey Studios, Alisha Shields of Hair by Alisha, Marissa Rivera with MAC makeup, flowers from Toby Salt, music from Mark Brown of Island Sound, and a wedding cake by Corey’s Bakery.  Jenna and Zac also had a super awesome photo booth from us at JA the Booth!

Jason was shocked to see Zac’s new hairstyle!  It was such a big change from the engagement session that Jason almost didn’t recognize him!  His hair looked great, and he rocked his gray suit and burgundy bow tie.  Jenna was gorgeous and Jason said it was wonderful to see how happy she was all day.  She walked down an aisle that was decorated by hanging signs with parts of the wedding vows on them.  After vows and rings and their first kiss as husband and wife, the newlyweds drove off in a vintage Rolls Royce.

The reception had a romantic and fun atmosphere and included a football garter toss and Jenna on top of a cheerleading lift!  The night ended with a bubble departure.  We hope that Jenna and Zac had a great time in the Caribbean for their honeymoon!  Thanks so much to the newlyweds for having us on your wedding team!
