What a sweet baby boy! Jason photographed Natasha and Christopher’s engagement session and he was happy to meet their son when they brought him over for a newborn session. He was such a great baby! He hardly fussed, even when he was awake. I love his combed hair! Congratulations on your beautiful blessing Natasha and Christopher!
Congratulations to Torrie and Alexander! They were married at the Florida Aquarium and Jason was happy to join them for their big day. Torrie had her hair and makeup done by a stylist from Destiny and Light before she met Alexander for their First Look. They had a fun time taking bride and groom and bridal party pictures around the aquarium before the ceremony started.
Rose Garden Florist did the floral arrangements and the yellow and cream colors matched the navy also used at the wedding to create a nautical look. The ceremony and reception took place in front of the Coral Reef Tank. Wes Morris of Your Wedding Pastor was the officiant. The aisle was lined with flower petals and the silver chiavari chairs were beautiful.
Torrie and Alexander included details that made their day unique to the two of them. The wedding cake topper was a figurine of two dogs in wedding attire to represent the couple’s golden retrievers. The newlyweds are both med students so they included details that represented the medical field, including personalized prescription sheets for guests to write their prescription for a healthy marriage.
We hope the honeymoon in Mexico was terrific! Thanks to Torrie and Alexander for having Jason share your day with you, and we wish you all the best in the adventures ahead!
Jason photographed Courtney and Tyler last summer when they had an engagement and family session at the park. It was great seeing them again at the end of the year for their wedding at the Lange Farm!
Courtney got ready at the Hampton Inn and Suites Tampa-Wesley Chapel with a stylist from Michele Renee Hair and Makeup Artist Group. She wore an Oleg Cassini gown with a snowflake pattern on the front that was perfect for the winter theme of the wedding. 2Birds Events always does an amazing job with floral arrangements! The bouquets had white, pale blue, and subdued green colors which also worked for a wintery look.
Pastor Wes Holland of Westminster Presbyterian Church was the officiant at the ceremony. White paper lanterns hung from the big oak tree where Courtney and Tyler exchanged vows as the sun began to set. After group pictures and bride and groom pictures, the newlyweds joined their guests for the reception at the Antique Barn. Courtney loved the lights at the barn and was able to dance under them for her first dance with Tyler. Good Food Catering Company was the caterer and Olympia Catering made the wedding cake. The DJ was from Island Sound Live.
Jason loved seeing so many familiar faces and catching up with couples he hadn’t seen in a while! It was a terrific wedding with wonderful people. Thank you so much to Courtney, Tyler, and their families for inviting Jason to be part of it!
Jason photographed Cassy and Thomas’s engagement session, and then Cassy’s gorgeous maternity session when she was expecting twins! Their twins just turned one and Jason photographed their first birthday session. Their poor little girly was teething but Jason still got a couple smiles from her. I started laughing when editing the images; when the twins went outside and sat for pictures, they both started eating handfuls of grass! Adorable! Jason said it was great seeing Cassy, Thomas, and their twins again and he is excited for next time!
Jason photographed Brandy and Kevin’s engagement session and was happy to join them again on their wedding day. They were married at Mixon’s in the Grove at Mixon’s Fruit Farm. It is a terrific venue for a Florida wedding! The wedding colors were purple with black and white damask. The floral arrangements were purple and white, and the reception had the damask pattern throughout the decor and table settings. Jason thought it was great to see Brandy and Kevin’s engagement pictures used on the reception details as well! The Yankee Candle with their photo on it was really cute.
Instead of a traditional guest book, the bride and groom had guests sign a cork and drop it into their memory frame. That is going to look great hanging on Brandy and Kevin’s wall! One of the favors for the guests were personalized shot glasses and flavored liquor which could be used in the ice luge. Matchbooks, M&Ms, mints, and candles were also personalized with the couple’s names and wedding date. What wonderful keepsakes for guests to take home and remember the day! The night ended with a sparkler send off. Thank you to Brandy and Kevin for having us as part of your special day!
